Beth Webb

Beth is an author and performance storyteller, who has published twelve books for children and teenagers, and number thirteen (Wave Hunter, Book three of the Star Dancer quartet) is due out on May 30th 2011. Her publishers include Macmillan Children’s books, LionHudson, and March-Hamilton Media. She has blogged for the Guardian and written for Mslexia magazine.
Beth’s big passion is inspiring children and teenagers to write, but she is happy to work with anyone of any age and ability. She has current enhanced Avon and Somerset CRB for working with children and young people from Kilve Court Residential Education Centre where she runs regular novel and genre writing courses for teenagers.

Beth has taught Creative Writing for the Open College of the Arts and has been a mentor for the University of Lancaster / British Council ‘Crossing Borders’ programme, she is an accredited lecturer in Creative Writing (University of Glamorgan) and has a Master’s Degree from Bath Spa University College. Beth’s specialties are: writing for, and by children, fantasy fiction, crime (she has access to a real CSI!) and sci-fi.
