Thank you for a brilliant day, it went so well and you were such an inspiration!
St Dunstan’s School, Glastonbury
Thank you very much for yesterday – I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Some of the students are still buzzing – apparently one of the boys (who hadn’t wanted to come in the first place) thanked his English teacher for selecting him.
Minehead College
I wanted to congratulate you on such a stunningly successful day… I have heard
so much praise from all the staff concerned.
The Well Wisher Booskhop
Thank you for a fantastic day yesterday. The children really enjoyed their time. Their faces were a picture as you told the ghost story – hanging on every word you said. They really enjoyed building up different worlds, particularly in the nature area. What they also really appreciated was you being able to look at their writing and being told that it was good and that they had lovely ideas.
Bawdrip School
I cannot thank you enough for the amazing job you did yesterday!
St Mary's, Calne
Many thanks for the wonderful day you spent with us the children were
inspired and some went home and wrote their own stories which they
brought into school on Monday. I will certainly recommend you to my colleagues.
Horton School, Chipping Sodbury
I used the daydreaming and bubble strategy today. It led into a new story opener. The children's work was amazing, I was so HAPPY.
We have 25 twisted fairy tales on the boards now. I caught one of the children stroking their work!!! I asked them why and they replied that they were SO proud. You can't get better than that, can you? My class had a fantastic day with you, and are still talking about it!
Motcombe Primary, Dorset.
I very much doubt that I would have got far as a writer without Beth's help. (Many of my short stories have since been published and won prizes in national competitions). Her warmth and personality, as well as her skill at teaching, provided continual encouragement when, as a new writer, I most needed it.
