Introduction
I'm not going to pretend that this will an unbiased review - because I love Fugitive's music but hopefully it will give you some idea of the pleasures you will be subjected to when you listen to the album. If you are expecting a detailed track by track analysis then you wont find it here - and you should know better! What this will be is a brief overview of the new album by Liverpool's best biker band FUGITIVE.

Review
The postman made me very happy this morning when he delivered a jiffy bag containing the new Fugitive album 'In Transit' The eagerly anticipated release was actually released a week earlier than planned - which does not happen very often, and the content does not disappoint, packing in just on an hours worth of great Fugitive rock. There is a good mix of old favourites, rally classics and new songs to keep you happy. The album has all the 'Long Weekend' EP tracks on it and carries over the new production sound that Fugitive have achieved working with Nino Errico at Autumn Road Studios. The whole effect is a rich sound bristling with the best of the four musicians and great lead and backing vocals. You won't need to listen hard to hear the odd keyboard in there too, which compliments the spectrum of sound rather than just adding to it.
One of the bands best known songs and one of my all time favourites 'Janie' gets a major rework - it took me entirely by surprise - and I love it! Great song and an excellent new arrangement brings this classic song bang up in line with the rest of the album content - look out for the 'BIG' finish :) . Rally favourites such as 'Party' and 'Overnight Sensation' translate well to the 'Autumn Road' sound, the latter having a similar but not as extensive overhaul as 'Janie'. New songs include the magnificent 'Look Inside Your Heart', 'Wings' and 'Temptation' plus the epic 'Every Drop Of Rain' - though not the longest track on the album its got a bit of everything in - You will love it!.
'Alive' reflects the bands long standing ethos of 'We want to live life to the full and you can't stop us!' Great lyrics and a great sentiment, and talking of sentiments 'Behind Closed Eyes' brings us a taste of the softer side of Fugitive - Ballard? Power Ballard? No just a great rock song! From the 'Long Weekend' we have 'This Ain't Love' and 'Friday 13th' which have great big sound to them, 'Friday 13th' really kicks some ass, being my favourite track from the EP, its just brilliant. I can't say which is my favorite track overall, as it would be a close match between 'Janie' 'Friday 13th' and 'Look Inside Your Heart' but the whole album is good.
Now I have a 5 mile smile.

Summary
As ever Fugitve bring a good mix of classic British Rock music, well played and well produced, with the attitudes that we have become accustomed to throughout their long stint on the UK Rally scene. The album moves their recording and performance values up a notch or two the overall effect is marvellous. Turn it up to 11 boys :).
I can't wait to see them live again. See you there!
